Today I'm exploring my favorite places to stay in Atlanta. One of my favorite things about Atlanta is that there are so many options for places to stay. I've been to cities that had nothing but expensive fancy options and some with just weird little inns. Atlanta has something for everyone so it's easy to find something that will fit your budget and your personality.

Where to Stay
Our first visit, we stayed at Stonehurst Place. I found this gorgeous boutique B&B on Jetsetter and it's a beautiful historic home in Midtown Atlanta. We weren't 100% sure what to expect and we had never spent much time in that area before but we loved it. We got the Gables Suite which was the largest room in the whole inn (it's a small inn) and came with its own living room space. The bathroom was BEAUTIFUL and super well equipped. Breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of snacks and drinks around the property for just hanging out and reading. Such a gorgeous place!
My second visit, we stayed at the Marriott Marquis for a steal on Expedia. You might possibly recognize the funny shape of the atrium from Catching Fire and it's a pretty nice hotel and it's huge. It's also connected to a shopping center that is adjacent to a MARTA station which meant we didn't have to go outside (and got to avoid the humidity in August).
On the third visit, we really just wanted something conveniently located downtown and inexpensive. We got a great package deal on Expedia for the Hilton downtown and since it was right near the Marriott I'd stayed at in August, I knew the area pretty well. The room had a beautiful view of downtown and was a nice easy walk to Centennial Park and the CNN Center.
