I don’t like vegetables. As a child, my mom tried to force feed me some pretty unpleasant veggie dishes. That said, Vegan food did not excite me.
Even so, since we have plenty of events for our carnivorous members, we knew we needed to have a legit World Vegan Month celebration for our veggie loving friends. We even made sure all the swag was cruelty free and vegan as well!
We celebrated the evening at Violette’s Vegan; the most perfect place in town to hold such an event. The owner, Cyndy, is just the sweetest person and really takes pride in her business and the food.
We started with the Buffalo Cauliflower (I cannot stand cauliflower but this dish was so delicious), Red Rock Nachos, and Sassy Wings (cauliflower with a zesty seasoning and peanut sauce). So good!
We had a variety of amazing salads.
The entrees were amazing.
We tried the Country Classic, Positively Pad Thai, Mama Mia, and other amazing dishes.
We also had Violette’s Mac N Cheeze (which was definitely a favorite) and the Chili Cheeze Fries. So good!
A bunch of us got milk shakes too- I sampled the peanut butter cup which was delicious!
We had some awesome Vegan swag to top off the night- Red Clay masks from Acure Organics, gorgeous handmade bracelets from Shanti Sisters, skincare from our local Perfectly Posh rep, Kara, and dry shampoo from Hair Dance! Everything was Vegan, natural, and cruelty free!
