2015... WTF

I honestly don't know what to make of this year.

It's mid April and I'm still so confused.

So far 2015 has brought:

Family gatherings
Way too much shopping
Minor indescretions that I may or may not regret later
Foodie trips
First dates with a boy I'm maybe crazy about
Lying friends
Cheating friends
Complete and total confusion all around

On one hand, it's still only April. On the other, dude, wtf it's April.

April has been a fairly chill at home kinda month and that ends in about two weeks when the travel starts again. So far the summer yields no travel plans but that could always change.

Is anyone else feeling lost and confused?

Tucson- Hiking

I love visits with my cousin Karissa and her husband Shannon.

For one, Arizona is a quick and easy getaway. Two, I just love hanging out with these two.

Shortly after arriving in Tucson and grabbing a quick lunch, we went for a hike.

I've never actually hiked this far or for this long; however, the weather was great (it would alternate between really really warm and beautifully breezy) and the scenery was wonderful.

Lucky for me and Karissa, we did not encounter any rattle snakes this time!

Rascal Flatts

First concert of the year... Wow, that's weird.
It was March! Kind of late in the game for me.

My friend Alex and I had decided months before to see the Rascal Flatts at the Joint since they were doing a short term residency. One of the things I love about the Joint is that it's a relatively small venue and there really isn't a bad seat in the house.

We grabbed dinner at Culinary Dropout first.
Fish and chips and soft pretzels are such a great way to start an evening.

After dinner we had a little extra time to kill so we wandered the casino and checked out some of the random music displays. I thought this one was kind of a perfect tone for our night.

I think the deciding point for Alex was the fact that Craig Wayne Boyd was opening.

The Rascal Flatts are always awesome and the crowd was really chill.
