Vegas Lifestyle Influencers- Thunder From Down Under

Thunder From Down Under has been one of my favorite shows in town for about ten years.

When I thought about a place for a great girls night out with my Vegas Lifestyle Influencers, this was the first place I thought of. Thunder is a great time- it's very tongue in cheek and not sleazy. I've been to a few of the other male revues in town (okay fine, most of them) and I have to say, this one has always been a fave because it doesn't feel awkward or make everyone uncomfortable.
It's just a great time.

Last week, we had the best night at the show. We got the full VIP treatment complete with a backstage photo before the show and a fun group photo afterwards.
We also had the best seats in the house!

Best of all, we were authorized to take all the photos and videos we wanted throughout the night so we could share them with all of you!

We started the night by being escorted backstage by Matt, one of the members I've known for about a decade now. He recently retired so unfortunately, you won't be able to see him perform on stage!

This was not my idea.

After our photos, we were escorted to our table which was right in the center of the showroom with a perfect view of the stage- no obstructions.

We had some adorable party favors courtesy of Violent Lips in the perfect girls night out colors.

I was really happy to see Marcus as MC at the show- he's definitely the best MC in town for any of the shows I've ever seen. He always gets the crowd really excited even when the girls might be pretty shy or uncomfortable at the beginning.

My personal favorite of the night- Alex as Tarzan.

Now this wasn't my first time onstage but... It is the first time all of my friends had CAMERAS.

Some of the routines were new ones that I hadn't seen before and some of them were classics that I remember from years ago just with different cast members. I love that they kept some of the old routines because they were really entertaining and so much fun to watch.

After the show, we took a fun group shot on stage and then got to chat with the guys outside the showroom. I got to catch up with a couple of the guys I remember from years ago and all the girls got their photos signed (and we all had a good laugh over Ayron's hand placement in the group shot).

A huge thank you to SPI Entertainment, Thunder From Down Under, and all the guys for making our girls night out the best ladies night ever! As usual, all opinions are my own.

Just to show you how serious I am that Thunder has been a favorite for so long...
Here's a little Flashback Friday pic!

Maple Holistics Therapeutic Shampoo

Most days, my hair does what it's told (more or less).

Unfortunately, when the seasons change, my scalp gets weird and flaky. It doesn't help that my Asian hair is super thick, heavy, and gets oily really fast.

A couple weeks ago, Maple Holistics reached out to me about trying their Tea Tree Oil Shampoo. I used to keep a bottle of tea tree oil in my shower just to help cleanse my scalp so I was excited to try out the therapeutic shampoo.

I don't use Maple Holistics every single day; however, I definitely enjoy using it at least a couple times a week to help rid my scalp of any build-up. Since I spend more time at events and dinners, I use a lot more product in my hair and this shampoo helps rid my hair of the extra oils and sticky sprays. Definitely a plus! Best of all- the products are natural and sulfate free so I don't have to worry about weird chemicals or color fade from using the shampoo. Maple Holistics has a ton of products using essential oils and other natural ingredients and I'm definitely bookmarking a bunch of them!

Thank you so much for the shampoo, Maple Holistics! As usual, all opinions are my own!

Vegas Lifestyle Influencers- Americana

A little over a week ago, we were brought a really cool small group opportunity at Americana Las Vegas, a gorgeous fine dining restaurant right by a lake here in town.

Americana is beautiful. Not only is it right on the water, it also has a gorgeous wedding venue complete with lights, a fountain, and the prettiest arches. The outdoor seating is amazing and we had the most beautiful, secluded spot for our meal. Since it was still relatively early, we took a ton of photos before the sun finally set.

The dinner at Americana is honestly one of the best meals I've ever had. Not only were the ambiance and the service absolutely outstanding, the food was amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly and the presentation was stunning. We had two Vegans in the group and the chef made them their own specialized courses. I can't remember what they were, but they were plated beautifully and looked delicious.

We all started with a glass of champagne.

As for us meat eaters, we started with Shiso Crusted Yellowtail and Compressed Watermelon with Burrata and Heirloom Tomatoes.

Our next round was Grilled Octopus and Chimichurri Mussels.

Our main course was the Surf and Turf- the most delicious Steak with Truffle Mashed Potatoes and King Crab. They also served us the most gorgeous Calabrian Spiced Petaluma Chicken.

For dessert, we had the most amazing selection of items including cotton candy and the cutest presentation of housemade macarons.

Thank you so much to Americana Las Vegas for one of the best meals I've ever had in my life!
As usual, all opinions are my own.

Last week, we had another great event at Andre's Bistro & Bar. The restaurant was gorgeous and the service was amazing. We had a couple of vegans as well and there really was something for everyone on the menu. We had duck fat fries, lobster mac and cheese, charcuterie, and a few vegan items that everyone really enjoyed.

We also had a round of the cutest violet cocktails.
I'm not a drinker but these were absolutely delicious!

The real star of the show, of course, was dessert. I sampled a little bit of everything and these sweets were to die for. The selection was fantastic- the lemon tart and the pot de creme were my two favorites because of the variety of flavors.

Andre's was perfectly chill for our relaxation themed swag bag. We had a great selection of goodies from some really fantastic sponsors- Lavender Macaron brushes and my beloved Sugar Twists from Milk + Sass; all kinds of lavender scented spa goodies from our friend, Kara, a local rep for Perfectly Posh; a wonderful lavender scented body wash from Not Soap Radio (I just love the product names too); Patchology night Flashpatches; and some delicious Sleep and Calming chocolates from Good Day Chocolate. Basically, the swag bags had the most awesome goodies for the perfect spa day!

Such an amazing night with a great group of girls!

Thank you so much to Andre's Bistro & Bar, Milk + Sass, Perfectly Posh, Not Soap Radio, Patchology, and Good Day Chocolate for making this event so amazing.

Vegas Lifestyle Influencers- 595 + Bumble BFF

I know I've said it before, but making friends is hard.

I'm so fortunate I found an amazing group of likeminded women here in Vegas. I have to say, I got a lot of weird looks and unresponsiveness when I reached out to girls in town about starting Vegas Lifestyle Influencers. It was really discouraging some days; however, I'm so happy I put in the work and effort because I love our blogger group!

I reached out to Bumble BFF to partner for this event because I really love the concept of a friends app. So many girls (myself included) have tried online dating so why wasn't there some online friending? Bumble BFF really takes the awkwardness out of reaching out to make friends and gives you a safer space to do it. You don't have to do it the hard way, like I did!

This was our largest event so far, in terms of turnout. We had a fun space at a new local spot, 595 Craft & Kitchen. They provided us with some starters and a round of drinks and we had a pretty cute, cozy space. I love the look of the restaurant and the service was great.

I put together all these fun graphics with The Bees Knees by Bella Gypsy Designs!

The very best parts of fried chicken- the skin.

Deep fried deviled eggs.

How cute is this ice box dessert???

We had some of the cutest swag ever at this event! Bumble BFF provided some awesome decor and party pieces, It's a 10 Haircare made sure the changing seasons don't destroy our hair, Hey Honey is covering our fall skincare (and lipcare) needs, and Pixi Beauty is once again showing us that gorgeous cosmetics can always be affordable.

Since we had all these adorable Bumble pieces, I had asked the ladies to wear yellow and I have to say, the pictures came out pretty cute!

Thank you so much to 595 Craft & Kitchen, Bumble BFF, It's a 10, Hey Honey, and Pixi Beauty for sponsoring our event. As usual, all opinions are my own!

The Make Up Show Pop Up

A couple weekends ago, I requested my first press pass for the Make Up Show Pop Up at Red Rock Casino. I'd never tried to get into any event or convention as media before and honestly wasn't sure if my request would be honored but it was.

The Pop Up was pretty small but so much fun. I went with a group of friends who are all beauty bloggers so they knew exactly where to direct me and we walked around the entire show at least once. No joke, I saw some of the best beauty deals I've ever seen!

Some of the booths were so pretty too!

Ten pairs of lashes for $20 and they even threw in some extras!

All kinds of brushes.

So many colors.

I went home with some amazing purchases and this huge bag of swag from the sponsors of the event!
Such a fun way to spend an afternoon and stock up on some great pieces!!!
