Vegas Lifestyle Influencers- K-Beauty BBQ

Bloggers like themes. Well, I know I do.

A couple months ago (even before Margaritaville), I thought it would be fun to do a K-Beauty themed event and what better place to do it than a Korean BBQ restaurant? We have a ton of K BBQ joints in town; however, none of them seemed appropriate for the occasion. Out of nowhere, I found 8oz Korean Steak House & Bar, a brand new K BBQ spot that hadn't even opened yet.

8oz was literally the most perfect place we could have held our gathering. First- the food is AMAZING. I took food purchasing classes in college and the cuts of meat used at 8oz are so far superior to most of the other BBQ places in Las Vegas (the other spots seem to use choice meats at best and mostly cheap select cuts). The cuts here are prime so the price is higher; however, you really get what you pay for when it comes to meat. We had all kinds of side dishes and combo orders of three cuts of meat (my favorite was the wagyu but everything was delicious).

Second- the service was outstanding. The manager was helpful and attentive throughout the entire process of setting up the event. Working so many years in restaurants and hotels, I always measure the service by the first point of contact whether it's a phone call or an Instagram DM. The servers were extremely informative and did the most amazing job of explaining the food and preparing it perfectly for us (we didn't even have to cook it ourselves).

Last- the restaurant is adorable. Because we were doing a blogger event, we needed something photogenic and 8oz was gorgeous. The restaurant is clean, the lighting is chill, and the music is festive and fun. The twelve of us shared a long table in the side room (which is perfect for private events too) and we had the most amazing time eating delicious food, seeing familiar and new faces, and taking photos/video of everything.

A huge thank you to Jae Yoo and all of the 8oz Korean Steak House staff for hosting our event and making our evening so memorable and amazing! As always, all opinions are my own.
