Fall Dry Skin...

AUGH! So as much as I have been talking about how much I loooooove fall, there are definitely a couple things I do not love. For one- I have terrible allergies and I have just gotten the first bronchitis of the season (I have COPD and asthma). Ow. Two- My skin started getting flaky and dry. I managed to nip that within about a week, thankfully. I went to Sephora one afternoon and talked with one of the specialists about my concerns. She loaded me up with a few goodies that I am in love with. Here are some of my faves-

Glamglow Youthmud
I am obsessed with this mask. I use it at least once a week and I always feel like I'm starting with fresh skin afterwards. I have started needing to avoid the really dry patches to avoid irritation but it's still doing wonders for my skin! I get it from Sephora (I bought the mini and it's lasted over a month).

Exfolikate
I was given some deluxe samples from Sephora and am still using it over a month later. Once or twice a week is plenty and I alternate between the regular and the sensitive skin formula. I'm definitely going to invest when I run out of the sample, but for some reason, this thing seems endless.

Here is my new obsession-

Chanel Resynchronizing Collection
Before you scoff that this crap is expensive; it really is. I'm not made of money. I got travel sized samples on Ebay and apply them after washing my face so that a tiny bit goes a really long way. So far the minis have lasted over a week and have about another two weeks in sight before I need to purchase another travel size set. If you've got the cash, you can get the full sizes at Nordstrom. I may do that with my tax return next year. Or I may take a trip. But so far, this stuff is making my skin ridiculously soft.

And on to another Halloween throwback... This is another reason my skin is crappy in the fall. Zombie make-up wreaks havoc on skin and removing it is a real bitch. I think this is the first year in forever that I'm not zombifying and I'm kind of sad that I'll miss out, but my skin is not disappointed.

  1. I'm new to this type of climate so I'm adjusting as well. I gotta remember to always moisturize.

Anyway, looks like you had a fun Halloween! :)

    1. I loooove Halloween :) Grab some heavy moisturizers for the winter, it's definitely different from Manila (which is one of my fave places btw!)!! :)
