NFR 2013- Downtown Hoedown

So every year in Vegas, the NFR spends two weeks here. It's always right around my birthday which I think is the rodeo's way of saying happy birthday.

Every year Fremont Street does a big Downtown Hoedown with awesome concerts as part of the NFR festivities. This year it just happened to be cold. I dragged Amanda with me; we didn't come out for the whole show, but I definitely wanted to catch Cole Swindell (gotta support my GA peeps). Cole is an awesome country artist who's written some really great songs and has his own album coming out in February (yay). I met him at the big parking lot party outside the Luke Bryan concert in Salt Lake.

It was amazing to see Cole go from singing at the parking lot event to doing the 1st St Stage on Fremont. He puts on a really great show! Afterwards I ran into Chase Rice (who co-wrote FLGALine's Cruise, which is one of my favorite songs this year) which was also pretty awesome.

Stay tuned for more NFR country craziness...
